DESCRIPTION:Support a good cause and celebrate the many shades of your heart. Valentine’s Weekend\, come out to Annapolis Towne Centre for the first annual Shades of Red Fun Run & Crawl in support of Heart Health Awareness. Whether you’re running solo or coupling up\, get creative and wear the wildest red gear you own. It’s all about having fun! \n\n4:30pm: On-Site Registration at Charm City Run\n5:30pm: Free Un-Timed Fun Run down Towne Centre Blvd and Back.\nPost-Run: Bar Crawl (purchase beer tickets at registration)\n\nThe Way it will Work: \n\nReceive your bib at Charm City Run during the free on-site registration.\nDuring this registration process\, participants have the ability to purchase up to 4 beverage tickets for $1 each. Tickets are color-coded based upon the participating restaurant. One ticket will get the participant a free draft beer or house wine\, post run\, that night only; one ticket\, per person\, per bar. Participants can choose which to buy. All proceeds go to the Heart Health Foundation.\nThere will be a special coupon sheet from your favorite ATC retailers at the registration table for participants to take with.\n\nDid you know Cardiovascular disease is the #1 health problem in the US today? More deaths occur from heart disease than all cancers combined. February is Hearth Health Awareness Month and Anne Arundel Medical Center runs a program\, through the Heart Health Foundation\, called Dare to C.A.R.E.\, confronting heart and vascular disease. The program seeks to raise awareness and offer free screenings to people at risk.
